How is behind Casasol? Meet the team
Casasol is a tourist rental management company with more than 20 years of experience, and it was founded with headquarters in Calle Los Huertos in 1998 to offer a rental and maintenance management solution to foreigners with second homes, mostly acquaintances and friends.
Today the company is a leader in Nerja with a portfolio of 130 properties under management.
José Mateos -Director and owner-
The owner of the company is José Mateos, who joined the company as director in 2011 and bought the company in 2014.Trained and qualified as a hotel manager in Germany, he is responsible for coordinating all Casasol's commercial and technical processes and activities. Jose has developed his professional education in Cologne Germany and is fluent in Spanish, German, and English.
His motto is: Positive people change the world, while negative people keep it the way it is.
Belén Godoy España -Executive Assistant-
With a Master in Auditing and Business Management, Belén is responsible for all administrative processes. Before she joined our team, she gained many years excellent experience in the tourism and vacation industry. Resourceful, proactive, and reliable, Belén provides a high level of professional administrative support to the Director.
Her motto is: We can ́t direct the wind but we can adjust the sails.
Sandra Föhrenbach -Front Office Manager-
Native German Sandra lives and loves Nerja since 2002. Sandra has been in 5-star hospitality in Germany and Spain since she left school. She loves assisting our guests and seeing them return time after time to Casasol.
She is responsible for all front desk duties. She speaks fluent German, Spanish, English and French.

Loli Mena -Front Office Receptionist-
Native Spanish and originally from Jaen and lives since many years in Nerja. Loli’s charisma and exemplary willingness has create a high popularity with our guests and owners. Before Loli enjoyed out Team in 2018 she gained many years excellent experience in the Hotel Balcon de Europa. She loves to find the perfect accommodation for our guests and see them enjoying their holidays. She speaks fluent Spanish, English and French.

With a master’s degree in hotel management and tourist establishments and extensive experience in the sector of tourism from different cultures and countries, Paola serves our guests with a high orientation of customer service. Vanesa Sánchez -Executive Housekeeper-
Native Spanish from Nerja with Latin American roots. Vanesa has great supervisory and organisational skills. She is responsible to keep our housekeeping department on task, motivated and running smoothly. Before Vanesa joined our team, she gained many years excellent experience in the hotel industry in Nerja. She loves to reach excellent cleaning reviews.
